Just 30 Days Away!
Posted: September 11, 2026

Here are a few reminders:

Acknowledgements are going out so please check your emails for this information. You will see what classes you entered and any items you may need to receive your back numbers.

You can still enter or trade classes for horses already entered with no additional fees till September 18. If you did your entries online, you can do this online, or let Kelly or Peggy know.

What is Pre-Check?

Precheck is when competitors send Health Paperwork before arrival to be reviewed. We ask that it be sent at least 24 hours before arrival or earlier–earlier preferred. This makes arrival very easy and smooth, especially after a long drive, as your name is on the precheck complete list. Upon arrival, they give your last name/trainer’s last name and confirm that the horses that are on the trailer are the same on our list. It should be quick and easy as all health paperwork has already been reviewed to be valid. Everyone will receive a confirmation email with either what is missing OR will state they are confirmed for precheck.

Why do we do this?

Biosecurity is in place to make sure all horses coming onto the property are safe and healthy. Horse shows bring together horses from different locations, increasing the risk of disease transmission. By requiring health paperwork, show organizers can help minimize this risk and protect the health of all horses participating. These documents demonstrate that a horse has been inspected and been under a licensed veterinarian’s care. We do this to continue to be able to hold horse shows for everyone across the country. All we want is to come together and have happy and healthy horses while they are here!

What is required for Biosecurity/Entry?

All horses coming into the property (showing, non-showing, emotional support) need to have the required health paperwork to be on the show grounds.

  • Health Certificate – ‘Inspection date’ within 30 days of arrival. This includes horses coming from within Oklahoma.
  • Vaccinations (Flu/Rhino; Prestige) – Within 6 months of arrival date
  • EIA/Coggins – Within 1 year of arrival date

Please use this email for sending papers to precheck:  mgnprecheck@gmail.com
